Vittorio Lombardo MD FACS
Dr. Lombardo graduated from the University of Messina (Italy), School of Medicine, with top grades. He trained in General Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and in Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where he was a Clinical Instructor of Surgery.
In 2009, Dr. Lombardo joined the Department of Surgery of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, St.Louis, MO, as Full-time Faculty (Tenure-track).
His clinical practice emphasizes Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery.
Currently, he is an Attending Surgeon, Department of Surgery at IRCCS Piemonte Hospital in Messina, Italy.
Dr. Lombardo is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
